The Dialta Di650 is capable of producing 65ppm and features polymerised toner technology, as opposed to the pulverised toner found in conventional machines.
Minolta mono range product manager Richard Necus said: "With a polymerised toner all the particles are half the size and are uniform. This means that the image quality is better, and the toner is slightly cheaper."
The Di650s features include stapling and hole-punching at full speed as well as cover insertion and triple-folding for DL size mail shots. The copier can handle stocks up to 200gsm and has been built to give a monthly output of 300,000 prints.
"In just over four weeks weve got 30 orders. Weve also had a lot of interest from companies with print rooms wanting to replace larger machines with two Di650s. They can get a smaller footprint and still retain half the output if one goes down," said Necus.
The Dialta has a list price of 26,198.
