The free service, which was announced at last Novembers PPA digital production conference, went live at the end of last month (PrintWeek, 30 November).
It is currently being used by three publishers to allow advertising customers to check that materials they are going to supply meet the pass4press standard before submission.
The publishers involved so far are BBC Worldwide, Redwood and London-based contract publisher Mediamark.
Available through the pass4press website pass4press.com the service uses Markzwares Markznet online preflighting technology as part of a service hosted by e-commerce company httprint.
