The firm has secured a five-year document management deal worth at least 4m with British Nuclear Fuels at Sellafield in Cumbria. The site has more than 200 buildings making accurate signage, especially with regard to health and safety and evacuation procedures, paramount.
Oc will have 40-45 staff on site managing the deal.
It has also signed up global fund manager Invesco in a 5m, five-year deal. This will include the installation of two VarioPrint 5000s and CPS700 colour systems, and incorporates variable data printing, mailing and fulfilment as well as project management. Its indicative of our ability to provide expertise for certain sectors, said business unit director Bron Curley.
Oc has also boosted its wide-format printer offering with a new hybrid device, the TCS400. The thermal ink-jet machine copies, prints and scans in colour or black-and-white at up to 1,016mm wide input and 914mm output. The first TCS400 in the UK will be installed at Capita Property Consultancy.
