Oc claims the TCS500 and TDS450 will appeal to a wider market than just architectural users, such as copy shops.
Features on the colour ink-jet engined TCS500 include "dynamic switching technology", which detects the file being printed and automatically adjusts the speed and quality of the printing.
The TDS450 is a copy and scan product, which includes a single 600dpi colour CCD camera for more stable and sharper images.
Other wide-format products launched for the technical document market include the CS2044 and the CS2024 colour machines. The TDS320 wide-format press has been unveiled targeting the entry-level market.
