Oc will acquire all shares in Imagistics, which has its UK headquarters in Harlow. Its international head office is in Connecticut, US.
"This acquisition accomplishes Oc's strategic goal to expand and strengthen distribution power, particularly in the US," said Oc chairman Rokus van Iperen. "Both companies have a solid financial position and both serve complementary segments of the printing and document management markets."
Imagistics chairman and chief executive Marc Breslawsky will be nominated to join the executive board of Oc. Imagistics has a worldwide workforce of 3,400, with around 100 staff in the UK.
Last month Imagistics' UK arm signalled its intention to make inroads into the high-volume document management market with the launch of the Imagistics 1025.
