Amicus GPMS national officer for newspapers Steve Sibbald said he could not remember the last time the union had had a unanimous endorsement.
"We will now be working hard to establish sound and lasting structures within the company in order to promote a mutually beneficial relationship" he said.
The union is already recognised at the majority of Newsquest printing plants and negotiations are now taking place at its other sites.
The eastern division of Acas conducted the ballot vote, which had a 91.4% turnout.
