The Chorley printer commissioned its first five-colour Lithrone 528 in December last year, and a six-colour Lithrone 628 has just been commissioned.
Chief executive Ken Iddon (pictured) said the addition of the two presses had helped improve quality and productivity, while maintaining flexibility.
The new presses replace two 1996 A2 Komori Lithrone 26in machines.
Both the Komori's are fully networked with the pre-press department to receive PPFdata for automatic on-press profiling.
The three-year spend included a move to Creo CTP with Brisque workflow, and the adoption of FM screening.
