Miniature Marketing was set up by Andy Down, who previously worked for Bristol-based Avalon Trade Finishers. The firm offers 24-hour-a-day service seven days a week for rush jobs.
Its finishing on demand, said Down. He hopes that the firms Bristol location will allow local printers to take on short-run and specialist work that they would previously have to turn down due to the high cost of sending work away to be finished.
Down first had the idea six years ago but only recently decided to set up on his own with a 40,000 investment in a refurbished Stahl folder and Polar
guillotine supplied by Graphitec.
