Menzies is now able to provide businesses within the M25 with same-day newspapers from around the globe. Menzies Distributions London-based subsidiary Jones Yarrell & Co can print 180 titles on site, including the Los Angeles Times, Shanghai Daily News, Aftenposten and the Manila Times.
A spokesman for Menzies Group said the distribute-and-print model would be trialled by Jones Yarrell & Co, which specialises in delivering bundled newspapers and magazines to businesses, before being rolled out in Scotland.
Access to same-day editions of the newspapers had attracted Menzies to NewspaperDirects model, he added.
