BAS Printers was bought out of administration in January 2005 by a team headed by owner Ben Crozier. He was also managing director of Guilder Graphics, which was separately bought out of administration by Media & Print.
Wiltshire-based fine art printer BAS will relocate to Media & Print's commercial print business Borcombe SP in Romsey, Hampshire. Guilder Graphics will also be moved from Wiltshire to Romsey and the business will be merged with Borcombe.
"They both fit perfectly with what we have and back up my view that there are many undervalued assets with good quality print services," said Media & Print managing director Mike Dolan (pictured).
BAS has a turnover of 2.5m, while Guilder Graphics' sales figure is at 2m. The acquisitions bring the group turnover to around 10m.
Media & Print has also restructured its management. Crozier becomes head of operations at Borcombe while Ed Belbin has been appointed sales director.
Belbin was previously sales director at Southern Paper. Martin Daniel becomes director of administration, having previously been with BAS.
Media & Print also acquired bookbinding and short-run print firm Richard Harsher earlier this month.
