The Caerphilly firm is targeting the pin-card and pin mailer markets, secure message mailers and transaction receipting, as well as the traditional users of payslips, invoices, statements, cheques and vouchers.
Communisis former business development manager for pressure seal, David James, is heading up the division.
Communisis and Paragon have always been the main players, but part of the attraction of coming to Mastermailer was to create a third main supplier. This is what Id continually heard that customers wanted, said James.
Mastermailer is targeting its pressure seal service at banks, building societies and telecom companies, as well as print management firms.
We have some unique abilities that will expand the single-piece mailer market well beyond the current limited range of applications, added James.
Mastermailer, which installed a 1m Hunkeler Variweb last year, manufactures and prints the self sealing, single-piece Mastermailer product for smaller runs and pressure seal stationery for jobs over 50,000.
