MGS customer service director Alan Thompson said the deal was ongoing, and would be just for the UK market.
Thompson said the BPE relationship would give Hertfordshire-based MGS the chance to talk to other BPE distributors, and would not affect its recent maintenance agreement with distributor RES to service the Scanmate scanner products.
"The BPE products will provide us with even more opportunities in both the commercial and newspaper markets," said Thompson.
MGS markets a range of pre-press equipment, offering hardware and software support.
