M-real produces paper guide

M-real has published an in-depth guide to understanding paper called Paper School.

Paper School is designed as an introduction to paper, providing information for  users on the manufacturing process and how to select the right paper and more importantly, handle it.

The jargon-free brochure has been created by M-real Digital Imaging, with the aim of demystifying the complicated printing process. "M-real strives to make choosing the right paper for the job as easy as possible, as it can make a difference to the aesthetic attributes of a printed document," said M-real marketing project manager, Andrea Donath.

With the wide range of papers available in the marketplace, in a huge variety of colours, textures and weights, the paper sector can be a confusing marketplace for the uninitiated.

Other topics covered in the brochure include paper sizes, finishes and applications, as well as pieces on paper properties and behaviour. Paper School is free and accessible to anyone who uses paper, from school children to printers.
