Lottery win for print worker

A packer and binder at a Midlothian printer is celebrating winning more than 1.4m on the National Lottery.

Catherine Peacock, who worked at Harveys in Loanhead, near Edinburgh, and her husband John were presented with the 1,406,411 win at Hibernian FCs Easter Road stadium.

Harveys managing director Tom Domke said that Catherine, who has now left the company after 14 years, was a lovely lady.

Everyone is delighted for her and wishes her all the best shes held in very high regard, said Domke.

John Peacock said the couple planned to take their seven grandchildren on holiday to Florida and then buy a cottage.

She went in to tell them [Harveys] she wouldnt be back and they were delighted for her, he added.
