Linney Connect in Roche deal

Linney Connect, the recently formed print management arm of the Linney Group, has clinched a contract from healthcare giant Roche.

The deal covers print and digital asset management for Roche's pharmaceutical marketing material. The division was launched six months ago.

"It's a terrific win for us as it is the first specific contract the division has won in open tender," said Linney Group managing director Miles Linney. "The reason we set up Linney Connect was to offer a bespoke service to customers that were specifically looking towards print management."

The service for Roche will be provided through a local account and a project management team. Linney is based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and the print procurement system will operate from its Adamsway site.

Linney Group's other divisions include Linney Print, Linney Direct, Linney Design and Quadrant. The group has a turnover of 40m.

Earlier this year the company expanded its fulfilment business after taking on 4,000m sq of extra space for its Direct arm (PrintWeek, 20 May).
