The company supplies unprinted and partially-printed labels for the manufacturing, distribution, food and FMCG markets. Customers include Honeywell and Alsthom.
Managing director Derry Bryan said: "One advantage of the label market is you are not tied to one particular industry."
The new factory is virtually "clean room" standard, according to Bryan. He attributed the companys success to the flexibility that allows it to take small- and large-volume orders.
The Label Centre has two Mark Andy flexo presses and two Newfoil printers with Zebra thermal transfer equipment.
It employs five staff but is looking to bring in someone else by the end of the year.
Bryan has worked in the labels printing sector for 20 years. He was previously general manager of Customark, which is based in Cradley Heath and is part of US-owned Mail-Well.
"I wouldnt claim that I have a reputation in the industry," he said, "but Im pleased to say The Label Centre is certainly getting one."
