The high-street print chain’s Maidstone branch was approached by contestants from the hit reality TV show to produce a colour banner advertising a market stall for that episode’s challenge.
The quick-turnaround job was designed in-house then printed on an HP Designjet 5500 and waterproofed with gloss encapsulation.
Store owner John Marchant said: “We were absolutely delighted when we got the call from the budding apprentices, asking us to design and produce a banner at incredibly short notice.”
Kall Kwik also praised the Maidstone staff for rolling out the work in such a short time span. Group managing director Gary Verity said: “Anyone who has watched the show will be aware of the time constraints faced by the candidates and we are pleased that the team at Kall Kwik Maidstone was able to meet those deadlines and produce a top-quality product.”
