The four-colour Lithrone 420II joins a Lithrone 426ES, which was fitted at its Hull factory this January. DDJ Graphic Machinery overhauled both machines to the firm's specifications prior to installation.
"In a competitive market, improvements in efficiency and quality coupled with reduced makeready times help you meet customers' needs better," said managing director John Boland.
His firm replaced two four-colour Heidelbergs, a GTO and Speedmaster, to switch to Komori.
David Jarrett, director of DDJ Graphic Machinery, said the latest kit was "secondhand but second to none".
DDJ sales manager Colin Hughes said Jarrett had worked with Komoris for 18 years, was known from France to Japan and was one of the most hands-on and experienced Komori experts.
