The PEF, formerly known as the PGC NTO, and Jobcentre Plus are developing a recruitment strategy to help printing companies get the staff they need.
PEF chief executive designate Richard Beamish said that the industry was delighted to be working with Jobcentre Plus.
Our partnership with them will certainly help to raise the profile of he printing industry and promote the employment opportunities that we have to offer, said Beamish.
Jobcentre Plus manufacturing sector specialist Andy Child said: Not only can we draw upon local labour market knowledge as well as national experience, we can also tailor a whole range of services to meet employers; exact needs.
Jobcentre Plus website, www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk, receives over 1m visits a week.
