Michael, who will not be giving up his position at Manchester-based JMCL, said that Xplor was at the vanguard of developments and that he would focus on issues and trends affecting the electronic document sector.
Security is a big issue at the moment, but also marketing the environment, its sustainability and the paper industry. I am an independent consultant and will liaise with end users and vendors, he said.
Michael set up JMCL Consulting in 1991. Prior to that he qualified as an accountant at Arthur Andersen before joining the Wace Group as head of corporate finance.
