The purchase was made at Ipex through Escher-Grads UK dealer, Fastek Graphics, and it was installed at the end of May.
"The Cobalt-4 provides us with all the technology we need to improve turnaround times and quality," said Mannin chief executive Colin Brown.
Since the installation, which took two days, the company has fed three presses from one Cobalt-4.
The B2 violet laser diode internal drum platesetter is capable of imaging A4 (single page) through to B2 (four-up) plates.
Fastek Graphic Services finance director Stan Singleton said it was creating a lot of excitement. "We are talking to a lot of people, and hope to announce more installations in the UK shortly," he said.
