Irongate adds iGen 150 for personalised packaging

Irongate has invested in additional digital print firepower from Xerox to expand its personalised product range, including photo gifting.

It has installed a Xerox iGen 150 digital press and XMPie software. The iGen 150 joins a suite of Xerox presses including an iGen 3, a Colour 1000 and two Nuvera 144 mono machines.

“Xerox products continue to be the backbone of our business as we diversify and move into new markets,” said Irongate Group managing director Adam Noble.

The firm was an early adopter of personalised photo products, having launched a campaign for Thorntons several years ago.

The Derby-based business services company has sales of £17m covering business suppliers, workwear, office interiors, document management, print and promotion and managed services. It started out as a copy shop in 1977.
