Integrity Print adds BRC accreditation

Integrity Print has added British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification to its list of accreditations, allowing it to expand its trade label business for the food and drink industry.

The £63m-turnover Midsomer Norton-headquartered group has achieved the BRC standard for packaging and packaging materials, category 2, at its labels operation in Farrington Gurney.

The move caps a £1m investment programme at the division, which included the addition of a Xeikon digital press last year and a six-unit Gallus press in January.

The BRC standard is focused on hygiene, and Integrity described it as a "business critical objective" for the company, as it was becoming a must-have for some of its clients. Integrity has already achieved ISO9001 and ISO14001, and the information security standard ISO27001.
