Smith worked alongside colleagues John James and John Kelly for many years at CFC before striking out on his own.
His funeral is to be held at Beckenham Crematorium, Elmers End Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 4TD at 3.45pm on Friday 12th November before moving on to Beckenham Cricket Club, Foxgrove Road, Beckenham, BR3 5AS.
His family requested that donations in memory of Nick should be made payable to Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund and sent to H Copeland and Sons, 9 Bromley Road, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 5NT.
