Its Interoute Media Xchange (IMX) is already being used by publishers Highbury House Communications and NatMags, and repro houses including Wyndeham Press Group, Fresh Media Group, Gilchrist and Rival Colour.
The firm describes IMX as a community of interest network (COIN), which enables firms to link their suppliers and customers together with the benefits of the speed, reliability and security of a dedicated network but without the set-up and maintenance costs.
It uses the firm's multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) network, which covers the whole of Europe, and was developed after consulting with the industry over its need for an end-to-end digital supply chain.
"We need to give solutions that offer a real improvement in performance and a commercial advantage for firms using them," said Interoute executive chairman James Kinsella.
