The B2 firm has bought a Speedmaster SM74-8P long perfector with a pre-press interface for closed-loop colour, as well as Heidelberg's Prinance MIS, the Print Ready workflow and a Stahlfolder KTL palletised folder and ST350 saddle-stitcher.
Impression is set to complete the current investment cycle with the installation of a Suprasetter thermal platesetter later in the summer.
Adrian Glenn, Impression managing director, said: "This latest round of investment... makes us not only a complete Heidelberg house, but one of the best-equipped facilities in the B2 marketplace.
"The ability to output data originally prepared by Prinance as an estimate in JDF format... was a major factor in our decision."
