IFS appoints Tecnau specialist to support growing interest

Intelligent Finishing Systems (IFS) has hired a new sales specialist to support the growing interest in its Tecnau range of products.

Dawn Kelley has been appointed as digital solutions sales specialist and will focus on the Tecnau products, which include paper handling, monitoring, processing and finishing for the digital printing industry.

Kelley, who started in the newly created role earlier this week, has 26 years of print experience.

Her first 18 years were spent in used machinery specialising in international sales while also running her own business as an independent consultant for sourcing, selling, moving and installing machinery including litho presses and finishing equipment globally.

She has more recently focused on digital production print sales, working for both Kodak and Konica Minolta over the past seven years.

Kelley said: “Tecnau offers integrated solutions to support the broadest array of applications for transactional printing, transpromo, direct mail, publishing, graphic arts, books on demand and short run. I am looking forward to working with operations to see what benefits they can embrace.”

Kelley was approached by IFS joint managing director Bryan Godwyn, who she had previously worked for in 2006.

Godwyn said: “We have seen interest develop in the range as printers realise the savings continuous-feed print can deliver. Dawn will help our customers make the most of these to help them grow their business effectively and confidently.”

Kelley said the new job was "a fantastic opportunity" in "an extremely fast growing and exciting technology market".

“I am looking forward to meeting with existing customers and potential clients alike to discuss any future requirements and business opportunities,” she added.

IFS became the exclusive UK supplier for Tecnau equipment last year. It is also the exclusive UK agent for Horizon post-press equipment and also offers systems from suppliers including Perfecta, Foliant, Petratto, Durselen, SCS and Italdibipack.
