HP's latex technology on display at Media Expo 2011 for signage solutions

HP India will showcase its latex technology printers L25500 and L65500 at Media Expo 2011 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 29-31 July.

HP claims that latex ink is unique in the range of applications that can be handled by one technology, encompassing frontlit and backlit displays, vehicle graphics, banners and wall coverings onto a wide range of uncoated substrates.

The L25500 takes latex into the 1m and 1.5m wide roll-fed space, joining its bigger brother the 2.6m-wide L65500.

The visitors to the HP stand will get to experience live demo zones for vehicle wraps, wallpaper application, electronic gadgets accessories etc.

Recently, Gurgaon-based PrintExpressions installed HP L25500 to provide the "capability of printing on any kind of flexible media up to a width of 60-inches" according to the director of the company, Sukhvinder Singh. "Demand from the signage industry is on the rise. So is demand for industrial wide-format graphic applications such as POP displays, decorative and to some extent packaging printing."
