HP revives role for nationwide manager in UK

HP Indigo has appointed a country manager for the UK. It is the first time the firm has had a UK manager since the departure of Steve Donegal in 2002.

Indigo sales manager south Adrian Stark, who has been with the company for nine years, has been promoted to the new role. He will report directly to HP's UK Imaging & Printing Group (IPG).

"We needed to strengthen the links to other divisions within IPG including wide-format and with corporate enterprise," said Stark. "More and more corporates are defining a print strategy. We won't be selling presses to the corporates, but we will be driving awareness of digital pages."

Stark has restructured the HP Indigo sales team into account executives looking after existing clients, a sales team targeting mid-sized commercial printers and key account managers working with the top 100 UK print firms.
