The unit brings all product sectors under the same umbrella group ranging from grand format and large format to Indigo products. The move follows HP's recent acquisition of Scitex Vision and its OEM agreement with Seiko I Infotech.
"We need to make sure we are addressing the market in the right way and work cohesively together," said Paul Randall, HP UK marketing manager for digital publishing solutions.
"We don't want all the divisions to operate independently and there are overlaps with different sectors."
