Mayor Ken Livingston joined forces with Help the Aged and British Gas to generate awareness of how to stay warm this winter after more than 3,000 pensioners died last winter.
Multicolour Printers, London, used a Heidelberg Speedmaster 102 to print 500,000 cards onto 350gsm board with gloss UV varnish and hand-applied thermometer strips.
"Needless to say, timing and competitive pricing were major factors in winning this order," said Multicolour Printers director Sid Jerome.
