Harris visits UEL following signature shirt design

Do you know who it is yet? Australian all-round entertainer Rolf Harris paid a visit to students at the University of East Londons (UEL) Fabric Print and Design Bureau, known as the Fab Pad, to pick up a new digitally printed shirt and a few tips on digital art and printing.

Harris congratulated the students on designing and printing his signature shirt, which he wore at his 50th anniversary show at the Albert Hall last month.

Fab Pad has 14 workstations networked to two printers the Mimaki TX2-1600 Fabric Printer and the Hewlett Packard Designjet 5000.

The Bureau is part funded by the London Development Agency and the European Union and offers discounted rates to local businesses.
