Hang unveils high-speed 245

Constantin Hang has developed a high-speed drilling system, the Hang 245, which can drill up to 2,000 piles per hour.

Its high speed is achieved as a result of a new computer-controlled table lift, while the system's maximum pile height is 75mm.

The table lift height can be reduced to produce higher volumes of small pile heights, while drill and table lift speed are both variable. The model 245 can be fitted with up to eight drill heads which can all be adjusted and changed.

A computerised set-up means stored sizes and drill distances can easily be recalled. The system can also be linked to a three-knife trimmer, banding system or shrink-wrapping machine.

The 245 system is available in both the UK and Ireland, through Hang's exclusive agent, Friedheim International.
