Graphoprint has secured its first major publication contract following the appointments of former Watmoughs directors Philip Ogden and Tony Scott earlier this year.
The Deeside firm will print Candis from next month, starting with its January issue.
The A5-format magazine is published by Newhall Publications, and has the third highest ABC rating among womens monthlies at 433,550. It was previously printed by Cradley Print.
"Candis has been A5 for years and is really one of the forerunners of the latest fashion among publishers. Its a format that we have considerable expertise at," said Graphoprint sales and marketing director Philip Ogden.
The title has traditionally been sold directly to members of the Candis Club and delivered by hand. The publisher is in the process of converting the sales model to subscriptions, which currently stand at 150,000.
Editor Jenny Campbell said: "We have been very impressed by Graphoprints passion for quality and customer service. The magazine is maturing fast, we have a first-class design and layout."
Graphoprint will also move Candis to a whiter paper stock M-reals Galerie Lite.
