Garnett Dickinson managing director Nick Alexander said that the CD version of Racing Line, which was manufactured entirely in-house, had been produced so that the digital content had guaranteed integrity.
"We believe that it is a good example of adding value to our clients work and we drew on skills from throughout the group. Obviously companies like McLaren need to be sure that the content cant be edited."
The digital version was designed to be placed onto the intranet systems of West McLaren Mercedes partner companies including Sun Microsystems, Siemens Mobile and Warsteiner.
The Rotherham-based group, which has supplied West McLaren Mercedes for five years, also produces the printed version of Racing Line.
Alexander added, "It doesnt detract from our main business of printing, but allows us to support clients in a new way. It has led to a significant number of enquiries from other clients."
