Garnett breaks ground for new site

Garnett Dickinson has broken ground at its new 12,000m sq factory and sold its existing site as part of temporary lease-back until it moves early next year.

The old Eastwood Works factory will eventually be converted into business units and offices. Much of the steelwork is already up at Garnett's new site part of a 20m spend which is the first build on the Brookfields Park Development. "The site is Britain's largest remaining enterprise zone and will create an estimated 2,500 jobs," said Garnett group chief executive Hamish Dunlop (pictured 2nd right).
