Optichrome in Woking has begun using the Polisher-In option, which integrates Adobe Normalising and Enfocus pre-flighting with Screen's image quality management technology.
Meanwhile, Hemel Hempstead-based Colne VCS has become the first UK user for Screen's CRM, which integrates remote file transfer, PDF creation and approval services.
Optichrome began beta-testing the Polisher-In module when it installed Trueflow 3 with a PlateRite 8600 B1 thermal platesetter at the end of 2004.
Pre-press manager Matthew Burford said that the module had made him "happy to use RGB... but I would not have been before".
Burford added that the increased use of digital cameras meant that a growing number of files were submitted in RGB format or in a file converted to CMYK using Photoshop, which then had to be opened using Enfocus Pitstop to check their profiles.
"We had to do this one at a time and it took time," he said.
Colne VCS has included Screen's CRM into its Trueflow 3 system, which was installed alongside a new B2 PlateRite 4300 CTP.
Colne VCS sales and marketing director Simon Breeze said: "We see the provision of easy-to-use and intelligent online services for our customers as a major USP."
Breeze added that the investment in Screen technology came after a long relationship with the firm's equipment.
"We have run Screen thermal equipment for five years under a facilities management agreement and were happy with its reliability and robustness," he said.
