First UK install for Brause 1050SE

The London Fancy Box Company has installed the UKs first IMG Brausse 1050SE die-cutter.The Dover firm spent around 170,000 (255,000) on the kit, which runs at 7,500 sheets an hour.

It is comparable to Bobst, which is double the price, said Vincent Eigden, owner of IMG Brausse Europe, a German-based firm that has  the kit made in China.

Launched at Drupa 2004 and boasting 30 sales across Europe, it offers pre-loading and non-stop feed and delivery.

Andrew Pearman, sales manager at UK supplier Technical Solutions in Stoke on Trent, said: Its no longer a swearword to be called Chinese: the machine has a high specification.

We aim to be the second-most popular die-cutter in Europe next to Bobst, only you can buy two of these for a Bobst equivalent.
