Printable Technologies has bought Collabrias hardware and software assets after its fellow California-based company ceased trading last week (PrintWeek, 22 June).
"As soon as we found out about Collabrias plight, we moved as quickly as possible to put together a solution," said Printable Technologies executive vice president Chuck Gehman.
Collabrias customers, most of whom use the PrintCommerce 3.0 platform, are to receive the same services and should not notice a difference.
"We will more than likely be offering positions to some staff from Collabria in the coming days. This makes sense as were adding a substantial number of new customers," added Gehman.
