Nearly 50 fire fighters battled to douse flames at the factory of a leading Leicester print firm this week.
Midland Screenprinters, a PrintWeek Top 500 firm, dialled 999 just after 3pm on Tuesday (28 August) after the blaze started at its plant.
No one was hurt in the fire, which was caused by an overheated machine. Six fire engines were needed to put it out.
A company spokesman would only say that the fire started in a drier and the damage was minimal, mostly to ductwork. No print machines were damaged, he said.
Leicester Fire Service said much of the damage was to the roof of the building in Humberstone Lane.
Midland Screenprinters was number 440 in the last PrintWeek Top 500 with sales of 4.5m.
