This year five sub-categories packaging, fine art, stationery, digital printing, and corporate printing have been added to the two main categories design excellence and print excellence.
The judges said a considerable improvement had been noticed in printing quality, in particular on textured grades. This year's nominations include entries from printers Malvern Press, Midas Press, Paul Green Printing and Cloister Press.
The winners will be unveiled at an awards dinner at Fedrigoni's UK conference centre in Northamptonshire on 22 October. The winners will be invited to enjoy a weekend in Italy, courtesy of Fedrigoni.
