Overseas subscribers, in particular those in the US, will be able to access the magazines content sooner than is possible via the printed version. This is expected to help retain and boost subscriptions by giving subscribers more timely access.
This is not a new medium, its just delivering it by a different means, said Haymarket Motoring & Specialist Publications managing director Simon Daukes.
Autosport will go live with the software by the end of this month.
ActiveMagazines European distributor is Applecart, part of Fresh Media Group, which includes London pre-press firm Colour Systems (PrintWeek, 21 August).
