Ebb invests in online access

Elliott Baxter has invested 500,000 in software so customers can access invoices, statements and quotations online.

Information such as order status and pricing will be available at the click of a button according to managing director Tim Elliott.

"We believe the system is unusual in the amount of access provided," Elliott said. But he added he could not be sure how much access was provided by competitors' systems.

"Far more information will be available, and this further enhances our customer service pledge," he said.

It will be phased in over an 18-month period from early 2005. Trinity Computer Services, which has been a business partner of the merchant for 13 years, provided the system that includes software from Microsoft Business solutions.
