Another first for the firm at Drupa will be an interface allowing new parent Agfas ApogeeX pre-press workflow to drive the roll-fed UV-cured ink-jet press.
Cardiff-based Gardners is Dotrixs first UK the.factory client, and will operate it in the PoP, display and signage markets.
The only limit of the.factory is your imagination, said managing director Richard Gardner. We can now offer an opportunity to be involved in the newest technology available.
The converting line that will be shown at Drupa will include a jumbo unwinder in front of the press with sheeter or rewinder after it. Dotrix has also worked to expand the range of UV-curing options and inks to expand the range of substrates that the machine can handle.
