Denny introduces adhesive booklet

Specialist printing firm Denny Bros has launched a self-adhesive version of its credit card-sized Informaxx product.

Informaxx-it uses adhesive material that enables the sheet to be dry peeled for "immediate use".

Denny Bros is currently testing the product and has yet to take any commercial orders. The company said it had received a "great deal of interest".

The Bury St Edmunds-based company added that the product would be used for marketing campaigns, including direct mail and cover mounts. "The product will be for campaigns where the manufacturer requires the customer to hold on to some form of retainable media," said Denny Bros managing director Barry Denny.

Informaxx-it is available in booklet format from eight to 24pp or "combi format" with extended pages.

It will be printed and manufactured by Denny Bros alongside its worldwide licensee network of Fix-a-Form manufacturers.

According to the company, its Informaxx product allows a "large quantity of information to be stored within a minimum of space".

"While large format brochures will always have their place in marketing, this compact media system conveys up-to-the-minute information and brand values to customers," said Denny.

Informaxx has been used by a range of clients in the healthcare, travel, hotel, retail and food sectors. They include Powergen, Northern Ireland Electricity, JJB and Olympus Sports. The new addition follows the launch earlier this year of Polestar's self-adhesive label product, Pagers, which has been designed for use in promotional and advertising campaigns.

Procter & Gamble used Pagers labels to promote its Pringles and Olay brands in IPC publications TV Times and Woman (PrintWeek, 1 April).
