Dennis to perform at Butler, Tanner & Dennis

Felix Dennis, saviour of Butler, Tanner & Dennis, is to perform in front of 160 employees and their families tomorrow evening (23 October) as part of the latest leg of his poetry tour 'Did I Mention the Free Wine?'.

The talk, which is in support of his latest collection, Homeless in My Heart, will take place at the 225-capacity Merlin Theatre in Frome, which includes an audience of specially-invited figures associated with the local book printer.

The evening's event, held in conjunction with The Week Wine Club, will feature two 45 minute sessions from Dennis complete with complementary wine selected by the publishing mogul.

'Did I Mention the Free Wine?' has taken in 12 dates across the UK and Ireland. Attendees have the option to buy signed copies of the new book, proceeds of which will go towards Dennis' registered charity, The Forest of Dennis.

He said: "This is the story of a fool whose life was saved by poetry. The poems have poured out of me in a cataract, like a dam breaking.

"I cannot know what is left in the reservoir, but, for me at least, Homeless in My Heart is a coming of age, where form, muse and craft have finally ceased their adolescent warring."
