Deller enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in the industry, which he joined aged 14 in 1934. He served an apprenticeship as a letterpress printer with London-based Krisson Printing.
After the interruption of the war, Deller returned to Krisson and became machine room manager while writing for several trade magazines. He also produced three books on printing.
He later became managing director of Harkwell Press, which acquired Krisson. Deller then returned to Krisson as managing director 44 years after joining as an apprentice.
After "retiring" from the industry he set up Jack Deller Associates.
He fell ill seven weeks ago, and his funeral took place on Monday (24 June) in Watford.
