Birmingham and West Midlands GPMU branch secretary Tom Lowe said the majority of members accepted the proposals for changes in shift patterns and also rates of pay, which had been drawn up following the companys poor trading performance and tough market conditions (PrintWeek, 1 February).
"We are continuing talks with the management on how the redundancies will be applied through the company," he added.
It will affect staff across the web offset printers press hall, bindery, studio and pre-press departments.
As PrintWeek went to press no one from Cradley Print was available for comment.
