The new facility will produce the full range of CPS products and is part of the companys longer-term plan of European expansion.

The company, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly chemicals, solvents and associated products for the screen and offset print industries, has closed its facility in Kvistgrd, Denmark, and is due to start production in Wantage in July.

In addition, Simon Jones has been appointed commercial manager for CPS. Prior to his appointment on 1 April 2006, Jones was product marketing manager with MacDermid Autotype.

Jones said: "We have relocated and retained key staff from other CPS sites, and will be recruiting as required to strengthen the team further."

Jones added that around 20 jobs would be created in Wantage, thanks to the move.
