Contract wins lead to bigger offices for Oc

Oc has doubled the size of its premises by moving into a larger office in Scotland.

The extra space at Strathclyde Business Park between Glasgow and Edinburgh will house narrow- and wide-format machines and four extra staff.

The move was driven by big contract wins in the architectural, engineering and construction sectors.

"We look forward to strong and continued   growth in all market sectors," said Oc (UK) managing director Nico Kooy.

Recent Oc coups included high-volume installations for the Department of Works and Pensions in Glasgow, Durham and Blackpool.

Longer-standing clients include the National Library of Scotland, Scottish Water and Scottish Equitable. Oc also handles a 4m print-management contract for Scottish Enterprise.

Office manager Peter McCartin, who heads up higher education for Oc UK, said contract wins were down to hard work, professionalism and customer focus. "A direct result is we need more space as part of our controlled expansion," he said.
